About Us
Our History
Good Shepherd Community Church held the first worship service in the Parsons Elementary
School on October 31, 1976, with Rev. William L. Snider as the founder and pastor.

Ground breaking for the sanctuary at 210 Obetz Road was held on November 26, 1978.  A
new annex, including educational and social facilities along with offices and restrooms, was
completed debt free and dedicated December 8, 1985.  The Dr. William L. Snider Family Life
Center was dedicated on June 11, 2000.  The Family Life Center consists of a gymnasium,
mezzanines, classrooms, storage and foyer.

Through the ministry of Good Shepherd Community Church, lives have been touched, hearts
have been changed, disciples have been inspired, relationships have been restored, bodies
have been healed, and most importantly,  souls have been saved!   We are committed to carry
on in the ministry God has called us to do.
